Abbey is in Knoxville, TN; she is a 6 year old brindle mastiff, about 135 lb. She is a precious lady, just as sweet as they come. She is great with other dogs of all sizes and kids of all ages (we haven't tested her with cats). She is potty trained and loves to relax on the couch and carry her toy gently around the house like it's a purse. She paces when nervous (storms, etc) but has never torn up anything in the house: she's always on her best behavior. Abbey's previous owner loves her fiercely, but has advanced onset ALS and could not continue to care for Abbey.
Abbey has been with her fosters for a little over two months now. She always wants to be near her foster parents, who would keep her in a heartbeat if their house wasn't chock full of dogs and kids. Abbey loves to snuggle and doesn't have a mean bone in her body. Abbey is looking for a forever home she can get comfortable in, with a family that can dote on her like her previous owner did. Abbey is vetted and ready for the right home.
