Dear Visitor,

The following Mastiff came into Southern States Mastiff Rescue:

Chili (AL) - Available

State : AL
Description :

“A very sweet gal”

Do you like hugs? Are naps a favorite pastime? Looking for a well-mannered Velcro canine companion? Chili is your girl! Chili is a sweet and charming 8 years young. Chili was raised in a loving home until the age of 7 when she had to go to a temporary home due to the illness of her person. She did not have a good experience and was brought into rescue out of concern for her environment. Chili is more of a cat person, but she does like other dogs as long as they don’t bark a lot. Chili has excellent manners and loves to be with her people. Chili would do best in a quiet home. She is initially shy with men she does not know and may need a place to retreat if overwhelmed. Once she becomes comfortable with her surroundings she loves to get her belly rubbed. Can you help Chili regain her confidence? If you think Chili would be a good fit for your home please fill out an adoption application for SSMR.

Zeus (KY) - Availalbe

State : TN
Description :

Zeus is a handsome young brindle boy looking for a new person to call his own. Zeus came into rescue when his elderly owners could no longer care for him. Zeus is a confident fun loving guy who has benefited from being well raised in a good home. He is healthy, well-mannered and ready to play, snuggle or follow you around (if you want to look into those big brown eyes and share a snack or two he is down for that as well.) Zeus finds cats to be more interesting than the cats prefer so he would do better in a home without them.
