Bastion is a sweet young guy who made his way into rescue when his owners were no longer able to care for him. He is currently enjoying life in his foster home where they are planning to make him a part of the family for good.
Paisley is a pure joy of a Mastiff. Found wandering as a stray with an injured foot, she was taken in by a kind couple who contacted SSMR. Although thin, injured, exhausted and frightened, she was relieved to be taken in and responded quickly once she reached the vet.
Since being taken into rescue Paisley has proven to be adaptable, easy going and friendly to everyone, although she is not used to small children and can become easily overwhelmed by them. Paisley wants to be with her people at all times and doing whatever they are doing. She loves toys and enjoys carrying them around. She is respectful to other dogs and while she enjoys their company she gives them their space and respects their toys. Paisley has stolen the hearts of everyone she has met so far. Do you have room in yours for her? If you are looking for an easygoing playful pal please consider Paisley for your new family member.
Isabelle would fit into any home. Isabelle was surrendered by her elderly owner when she could no longer care for her due to her own declining health. Isabelle was truly loved in her first home, as is evidenced by the smile she carries in her eyes at all times. She adapted well to a multi Mastiff home and loves playing with her foster brothers. She is the Auntie Mame of the Mastiff world.
Isabelle is currently heartworm positive, but has been started on slow kill treatment and is expected to recover fully and be heartworm negative in the future. Isabelle is good on a leash although she will at times encourage you to go her way. Isabelle is a happy, friendly girl who loves to meet new people and described by her foster family as a great ambassador for the breed.
Delilah is a lovely lady taken in by a caring nurse who could not say no to a patient concerned about the fate of their beloved dog. Having been an outside dog for the past couple of years, Delilah was excited to be back in a house and has expressed her delight by exhibiting her excellent house and leash manners.
Her likes include whatever you like. Her foster says when you sit she sits, when you move, she moves with you.
Delilah is open, friendly, eager to please and quick to figure out how. Delilah has won over her foster, her vet and all of the rescue volunteers she has met so far, but the heart she needs to win is yours. If you have room for this sweet girl in your life please contact SSMR to complete an adoption application.
Coy is a handsome 7 year young sweetheart looking for a forever home. Coy can be a bit shy at first but he loves other dogs and people and quickly won the hearts of all of those caring for him on his journey through rescue. Coy prefers a quiet environment so a home with no small children would be best for him. Coy is on the slim side at the moment but will quickly shape up with a few extra treats and some love. Coy clearly prefers to be with his people as much as possible as he feels it makes it easier for you to give him belly rubs, he is also a big fan of playing outdoors. Coy loves it when you throw the ball, especially if you will also go get it (he prefers other toys to fetch J) If you have room on your sofa for a chill fella to share your snacks with Coy is your ideal guy.
Brindle is a sweet friendly boy who has never met a stranger. He has also never met a cat so we really don’t know how that would go, but he does like kids and other dogs and really isn’t that the important thing? Brindle loves to cuddle up and has a solid understanding of basic obedience. If you are looking for a calm sweet Velcro boy to hang out with Brindle might be your boy!
